In the first half of 2021, the production capacity reaches 15.98 million tons, with a growth rate of 12.3% over the same period.
For output
According to the data of PUdaily, the output of China main polyurethane raw materials decreased slightly from 2019 to 2020, with the output of 9.11 million tons and 9.09 million tons respectively. However, with the gradual weakening of the negative impact of the epidemic, China plants were gradually recovered, and the operation rate was further improved. In the first half of 2021, the output reaches 5.65 million tons, with a growth rate of 50.2% over the same period.
For consumption
According to the detailed statistics of downstream industries of PUdaily, affected by the epidemic, the growth rate of China main polyurethane raw materials consumption in 2020 was relatively low, with a rate of about 0.5%. With the global epidemic gradually stabilized, the downstream demand rebounded in 2021, and China market was stable and became better as a whole. In the first half of the year, the consumption reached 5.25 million tons, with a growth rate of 39.5% over the same period.
