Amine Catalyst for Polyurethane(DC-EG)
Description
DC-EG is a tertiary amine catalyst. It is a strong urethane (polyol-isocyanate) catalyst that can be used in flexible foam applications and is commonly used for shoe soles. It is more selective to the gelling than the blowing reaction.
Uses
DC-EG is 33% TEDA dissolved in ethylene glycol. Used in the synthesis of prepolymers and curing of polyurethanes.
Advantages
General purpose catalyst good for all shoe grade applications
Strong gelation catalysis
Convenient liquid form
Excellent end cure

Recommended Storage conditions
DC-EG has a shelf life of at least 24 months from the date of manufacture and under the condition that it is stored in factory-packed containers and protected against extreme weather conditions, particularly against heat and moisture. The optimum storage temperature of DC-EG is in between 10 °C and 30 °C. Lower and higher storage temperatures are not preferable and should be avoided.
